Winter 2022

Reito Mizuhara is a medical student at the National Advanced Medical School in Tokyo who suffers from a rare and fatal disease called cellular sclerosis. To receive treatment, he is placed in cryogenic sleep for five years. Upon waking, he learns that a year after he fell asleep, a worldwide pandemic occurred, caused by a new Man-Killer (MK) virus that exclusively targeted men and wiped out all other males on Earth. Fortunately, Reito and four other men survived during cryosleep and are now immune to the virus. As the only remaining males in the world, they are tasked with impregnating as many women as possible to repopulate the planet. However, Reito remains committed to his childhood friend and only love, Elisa Tachibana—only to discover that she went missing three years ago. While the other surviving men adapt to this new world, Reito instead chooses to pursue Elisa, resist endless temptations, and investigate the mysterious virus.
